The layperson training modules are ideal for Persons requiring Certification: Teachers, Caretakers, Babysitters, Fitness Trainers, Security Guards, Construction Workers, Coaches, Camp Counselors, etc.
This module has three courses from which to choose: CPR, First Aid & AED (courses may be taken all together or in any combination)
The CPR Course teaches CPR and relief of choking in Adult, Children and Infants. It also teaches the uses of a barrier devices for all ages.
The AED Course teaches CPR for all ages, Automatic External Defibrillator (AED) use, relief of choking. It also teaches the uses of barrier devices for all ages. This course is for people who need to learn CPR and how to operate an AED.
The First Aid Course teaches how to manage illness and injuries in the first few minutes until professional help arrives. Course content includes General Principles, Medical Emergencie and Injury Emergencies. This course covers essential information and training in the first-aid skills recommended by OSHA, all in a format that can be delivered in a single day. This class can be combined with any of the above classes.
The Professional Rescuer module is ideal for EMT's, Nurses, Physician's and other Healthcare workers
BLS Healthcare Provider Course and CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer
This Course teaches the skills of CPR for victims of all ages ( including ventilation with a barrier device, a bag-mask device, and oxygen), use of an AED, and relief of choking in responsive and unresponsive victims. This course is designed for healthcare providers who care for patients in a wide variety of settings, both in and out of the hospital.
Family & Friends - CPR and First Aid for Children is ideal for Persons NOT requiring certification: Students, Parents, Grandparents
The Family and Friends CPR class teaches how to perform CPR on Adults, Children or Infants and how to help and Adult, Child or Infant who is choking.
The Family and Friends First Aid for Children class teaches how to manage illness and injuries in a child for the first few minutes until professional help arrives. This program covers such topics as preventing injuries, recognizing and treating bsaic first aid emergencies, and relief of chikong in infants and children
